The latest addition to the Mynameiscurt arsenal is an Epson Stylus Pro 9800 large format printer. One benefit of a struggling economy is high supply and low demand in the used capital market, sometimes resulting in great prices for someone looking to make a purchase. I was able to get my hands on this printer from a print shop in New Hampshire that was looking to scale down the scope of their operations.
Considering the large amount of large format signage I print for my clients, I decided to take a step up the supply chain and make a purchase. This should drastically reduce the price of these signs, giving my clients greater flexibility to print new and exciting signage and products at a much lower price. I also hope to print blueprints and architectural renderings for construction projects that I am involved in, and fine art prints for some of the artists that I work with.
It is a very high quality printer capable of printing on all kinds of media including canvas and high gloss photo paper up to 44″ in one direction and up to 40 feet in the other(not that that is necessary but it is possible). I am very excited about the printer, and hope to take on some exciting projects with it very soon. I’ll keep you posted.

When can we expect the life size Curt portraits to hit the streets?
Ha, if that weren’t so creepy it could have some practical use.
